geomorphological sensing eco villas
The ‘Geomorphological Sensing Eco Villas’ act with the natural flows and the two different monsoons which occur in the Maldives. The monsoon and its effects are an extremely important process not only for the geomorphology and sedimentation of the island but to protect the natural barriers of the islands; the coral reefs.
The eco villas act as a datum and have sensors to monitor the monsoons, they aim to respond to the changing conditions with the ability to rotate and shift within certain parameters to react to different directions of prevailing winds and strong currents.
