Currently it is too difficult to tackle the problem of plastic production and its disposal at the source; therefore the project focuses on the intervention of floating plastics. A set of devices will be deployed which collect ocean floating plastic. Collected deposits are separated by size and type; then are melted and reformed into plastic Core-Loc Tetrapod modules. 

 

These are dropped into the sea on neighbouring sandbanks and will slot together through ocean current and friction. Over time debris and sand will settle within the void spaces, which will allow for aggregation to occur and create Terra-form incorporating plastic, which will progressively create new territories.
