YEAR 2

The basic goal of this project is to provide a way to address sea level rise in the Maldivian capital city; Malé. This should improve the life of the population where possible and adapt to changing and uncertain circumstances. In order to achieve this the project draws on two major techniques; 

 

The design of an adaptive and site specific toolkit of procedures and infrastructural building elements and the design of a data driven analytical system to aid the implementation of this toolkit. Between these two techniques a framework is created in which the city can adapt, survive and thrive.
